Univision Taps VCI's Orion to Manage Schedules, Sales
Spanish-language media company Univision Communications Inc. has launched VCI Solutions' Orion sales, traffic, and accounting software for its three television networks: Univision Television Network, TeleFutura Network and cable network Galavisión.

Univision's operations include Univision Network, a Spanish-language broadcast television network in the U.S.; TeleFutura Network, a general-interest Spanish-language broadcast television network, which was launched in 2002; and Galavisión, a Spanish-language cable network.

W. Lowell Putnam, president and CEO of VCI Solutions, said, "As a global leader, Univision requires the right tools in order to streamline business operations and increase work efficiencies. Orion is designed to do just that, enabling Univision to have centralized operations and more control over all traffic, sales, and accounting business functions, thus leveraging their core business intelligence and ROI."
