TV2GO equips Mobile Unit with FOR-A

International satellite transmission and video production company TV2GO Inc. recently debuted a new mobile uplink truck. The 31-foot truck received a HVS-300HS compact HD/SD switcher and MV-410HS HD/SD high-resolution quad multi-viewer from FOR-A.

The HVS-300HS was chosen for its small footprint – saving space is essential when operating in a confined space – though the switcher is still reportedly full of robust features.

TV2GO went with the MV-410HS based on the performance of a larger model used in their studio. The teleport studio features a HVS-500HS switcher, two FRC-7000 frame rate converters, and two FA-9100 HD/SD frame synchronizers.

A 46-inch LCD screen was installed on the truck’s back wall, which combined with the multi-viewer, replaces the need for using a dozen TV sets to monitor.
