Trio Video Selects Calrec Sigma Console for New Hi Def Truck
Mobile television production specialists Trio Video are rolling out a second high definition truck with a 56 fader Calrec Sigma 100 console.

The Chicago-based Trio's "Phoenix" is a 53-foot expando mostly used for live sports but also live-to-tape entertainment and corporate broadcasts. Trio's first HD unit, "Tango" featured a Calrec Alpha 100 digital board.

"The Alpha was instrumental in our decision to purchase the Sigma, due to the consistency between the two series allowing for Alpha operators to work the Sigma with no additional learning curve required," said Trio Director of Production and Marketing Keith O'Brien.
