Trio Video Goes Digital With Calrec
Calrec is supplying Chicago-based Trio Video with a 48 fader, 88 channel Alpha 100 digital console for its new 53-foot long expando HD-ready remote unit. The console, which is Trio's first foray into digital, can accommodate 64 stereo and 24 mono channels.

Trio Video operates four remote units on approximately 800 events per year, mostly for live sporting events. The company currently has a 48-channel S2 in their flagship 53-foot digital expando, X2. The new rig is expected to be on the road in December.
