Sundog Films Buys Second Quantel eQ
Toronto-based Sundog Films christened its new Miami facility--Sundog South--with a second eQ system.

Quantel's eQ performs editing, effects, grading and mastering tasks in standard and high definition environments. The tools that comprise eQ include a timeline editor, multiview compositor, paint box, plug-ins, a real-time multiformat version feature and more. Additionally, the system can integrate with VTRs and can hold more than 6 hours of HD workspace.

Sundog President Wayne Trickett said described eQ as "workhorses that you can throw anything and everything at; their ability to handle multiformat work is particularly handy."
