ReelzChannel Installs 360 Systems Image Server
ReelzChannel, a new cable and satellite network, has selected the Image Server 2000 from 360 Systems to reliably playback content through its automated system.

Integrator/installer HomeRun Media Inc. designed and engineered ReelzChannel's post-production facility in Burbank, Calif. using 360 Image Servers to store and play promos and bumpers. The Image Server 2000 features three video channels and stores up to 170 hours of MPEG-2 video on internal drives. The servers can ingest satellite feeds and give ReelzChannel instant access to frequently played files.

HomeRun Media went with the 360 Image Server because of its versatility and affordability. "The Image Server's technical capabilities are on par with systems that cost thousands more," said Chris Donoyan, president of HomeRun Media Inc. "It's ideal for grabbing content off air and from satellite feeds."

360 Systems is a privately owned corporation based in Westlake Village, Calif. that develops technology for broadcast and Pro A/V.
