Pathfire Launches DMG News Connect for Newsrooms
Digital content distributor Pathfire recently launched its Digital Media Gateway (DMG) News Connect.

The DMG News Connect software works with the Avid iNews newsroom computer system (NCS). DMG servers automatically receive Pathfire-delivered scripts and metadata directly to users. The news inventory is then automatically updated on the NCS as it is updated on the DMG server.

"DMG News Connect allows newsrooms to search, move metatdata and output content all within their familiar desktop newsroom application," said Ryad Kahale, Director of Sales for the Atlanta-based company.
