OmniBus Automates Central Florida News 13
Central Florida News 13 has installed an automation system from OmniBus Systems to streamline production and 24-hours delivery of news programming.

The system will be integrated with a Pinnacle Systems Vortex video server, AP ENPS newsroom production system and VertigoXmedia graphics automation.

The new OmniBus system will serve as the facility's central interface for controlling devices, getting feedback and relaying playout messages. The OmniBus Desktop Control (ODC) interface will give staff reporters and others the ability to search and browse archived material, create graphics, place production elements for studio events into the scripts and control other functions from a single desktop.

Central Florida News 13 is owned by Bright House Networks.
