Omneon Opens First Office in China
Omneon has announced it will open its first office in China. Its Beijing office will be staffed by a business development and technical support team charged with enhancing market responsiveness and support of customers, future customers, and resellers.

"China is already a large market for digital broadcast workflows, and it is full of potential," said Andrew Thornton, Omneon vice president of sales for the Asia/Pacific region. "Placing our own technical staff right in Beijing helps us deliver optimal service to our partners, as well as pre-sale system design advice and post-sale support to customers. Another advantage will be facilitating communication of the unique requirements of the Chinese market to our designers for incorporation into new products and product upgrades."

Omneon already supports the Asia/Pacific market by maintaining offices in Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong, as well as sales and support staff in Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. The Omneon office in Beijing will be located at 12/F, Unit 30, China Resources Building, 8 Jianguomenbei Ave., Beijing 100005, China; telephone: 8610 5811 1888; and fax: 8610 5811 1999.
