Oasis Christian Center Installs For-A Switcher
The Los Angeles-based Oasis Christian Center installed a For-A Hanabi HVS-3000S16 production switcher in the church's new production/performance facility in the old Destiny Theater on Wilshire Boulevard. The new digital For-A switcher is a 16-input, dual M/E unit that will be used for cable TV and international broadcast productions. The church also expects to rent its facility to outside groups.

With both live display and simultaneous recording requirements, the church uses on mix/effects bus for large-screen display and the other for live feed and recording. Including aux busses, the switcher has been used to feed six different simultaneous signals, including iso shots from individual cameras. Among the projects the church has completed with the Hanabi HVS-3000 switcher was the recording of a DVD.
