N.D. Duopoly Deploys Omneon Spectrum for Playout
NBC affiliate KVLY-TV 11 and CBS affiliate KXJB-TV 4 serving the Fargo and Valley City areas of North Dakota have deployed the Omneon Spectrum media server for playout from a joint master control room.

The 10-channel Omneon Spectrum server system at the Fargo facility operates with Crispin automation for playout of both channels as well as ingest of about 35 programs and promo feeds daily. Built on open architecture, the system supports a variety of third-party applications for control and transmission, media management, archiving and collaborative production.
