KFSN-TV Implements Enhanced Traffic Reporting System
KFSN-TV, the ABC affiliate in Fresno, Calif., is now using an enhanced version of the Beat the Traffic system to provide viewers and Website visitors with the latest area highway information. Reports are now being telecast in 1080i resolution and the system provides a 3D perspective of roads and highways, with displays of current traffic conditions throughout California’s Central Valley region.

The newly updated version of Beat the Traffic went on-the-air and on-line just this week. KFSN-TV says that it expects the new system will significantly help Fresno drivers in their daily commute. The television station has been using an earlier version of the traffic reporting since 2006.
