Iowa Station Offers Personalized Weather Forecasts
KCCI in Des Moines, Iowa is using MyWeather's Personal MicroCast to deliver personalized forecasts to viewers throughout its market.

The Personal MicroCast is a personalized weather service that provides integration between a TV station's on-air and online content. KCCI viewers can receive the forecasts for their home area and three other locations. Viewers also receive real-time severe weather notifications and instant forecast updates through a downloadable desktop icon.

According to the station, KCCI received 10,000 subscribers to the Personal Forecast in the first 10 days, and has received very positive user feedback.
