France 3 Invests in Grass Valley DNPS

France 3 is upgrading its news production facilities with the Thomson Grass Valley digital news production solutions (DNPS).

Moving to a near-tapeless workflow, the France 3 Nantes Regional Center will use the Grass Valley NLE and video server playout products.

Products include the Grass Valley M-Series intelligent video digital recorders (iVDR), a NewsQ Pro automated playback system, FeedClip interactive feed capture system and NewsEdit NLE.

Users will be able to share media from ingest and editing workstations through a Networked Attached Storage (NAS) system.
