For-A Provides Hanabi Switcher to Sim Video
Video production rental house Sim Video, recently purchased a For-A Hanabi HDV-1000 HVS-1000HD mix/effect switcher.

The switcher supports 1080i, 24p, 720p and SD formats and is equipped with eight outputs and can be configured for up to 16.

Options to expand and upgrade the switcher are key benefits to the purchase, according to Toronto-based Sim Video.

The switcher is the third-generation of HD switcher product that For-A has developed.

"We designed it to allow end users to transition easily to HD production," said Andrew Alexander, vice president of For-A Canada.
