Clear Channel Selects Ciprico, Video Technics for NewsFlow
Clear Channel Communications recently installed a NewsFlow newsroom system in its KLRT broadcast affiliate in Little Rock.

The NewsFlow system, jointly developed by Ciprico and Video Technics, combines Ciprico's DiMeda centralized storage and Video Technics' Apella VCS video server to improve workflow in the newsroom. Ciprico's DiMeda provides the central storage pool for NewFlow, allowing real-time file sharing between multiple, ingest, editing, special effects, and high definition play-to-air workstations.

"Ciprico and Video Technics' NewsFlow solution gave us the ability to have an efficient process that was intuitive, easy to learn, and customized for the way we do business," said Allen Finne, Director of Engineering for KLRT.
