Chyron Ships Duet HyperX
Chyron has started shipping its HD graphics system, Duet HyperX.

The CG system can be configured for HD, SD or a combination of HD/SD.

Duet HyperX runs Lyric, the content creation and playout software, and features multichannel operation, full-motion compressed clips and Raid 5 storage. Users can import 3D scenes or import objects from outside sources for editing in a 3D space with Lyric. The graphics system is MOS-ready and includes the Chyron Intelligent Interface.

Other options include Proximity graphics management system Lyricstore, used for searching for and deploying graphics. Chyron MOS is available for Avid iNews or AP ENPS systems.

Customers include Turner Studios in Atlanta, WJW-TV in Cleveland and KAKM-TV in Anchorage, Alaska.
