Broadcast Networks Offers Technical Support to Genesis Networks
System integration specialist Broadcast Networks is helping network provider Genesis Networks by providing general technical services at locations around Europe.

Based in New York and with offices in London and Montpellier, France, Genesis Networks provides customized transmission solutions, including global HD video-over-IP transmission, to terrestrial, cable and satellite broadcasters around the world.

In recent months the company has had a presence at Chellomedia in Amsterdam, where it is supporting connectivity and transporting content from Chellomedia clients to all points on the Genesis network. Broadcast Networks also has a long association with Chellomedia and is currently installing a new Network Operations Centre at the facility, as well as upgrading various edit suites and expanding Chellomedia's transmission matrix in readiness for the launch of new channels.

Jeff Hallman, operations engineer for Genesis Networks, said: "To date, [Broadcast Networks] has completed four projects for us, which have involved performance testing and redeploying equipment that was needed at other locations on our network".
