Russian Broadcaster Installs Leader Analyzer
Russian TV broadcaster Channel 7 has selected the Leader LV5100D digital waveform monitor for its central equipment room at the network's Krasonyarsk headquarters.

"We were looking for a compact instrument that we could use to monitor the output from a variety of feeds to a Ross Video Synergy 100 production switcher located in the newsroom," said Alexander Buchnev, technical director of Channel 7.

The monitor is compatible with 625/50 and 525/60 systems and has two passive component serial digital input channels conforming to ITU-R656 and SMPTE-259M. An active output provides onward transmission of either input. A three-channel YUV/GBR analog input is also used.
