OmniBus Automates Doordarshan
Indian broadcaster Doordarshan has tapped OmniBus Systems to provide news automation and broadcast content management for a server-based news system that will be installed at its New Delhi headquarters.

Features include integrated desktop search and edit functions running inside the AP ENPS workstations. Journalists can view and manipulate media content even while it is still recording, according to OmniBus, allowing stories to be created quickly and played to air via the OmniBus News Playout suite. OmniBus will also provide the broadcast device management to enable complex MOS rundowns created in the newsroom while retaining frame accuracy for all primary, secondary and tertiary evens scheduled within any item in the MOS playlist.
