Maryland Public Television (MPT) is expanding its control room with gear from DNF Controls .

The Sylmar, Calif.-based company is providing its 3040P Playlist playout controller and 2034C Clip instant access system for a system that provides both SD and HD production and 5.1 audio.

MPT will use the 3040P to play back clips and moving backgrounds from a playlist and use the clip access system for random access clip playback.

The controller is equipped with a large LCD display and Playlist Playout software, and can control one playlist per channel on up to five channels.
