CBS News Ops Now Accept Sony XDCAM Content
CBS News is now accepting content acquired on the Sony XDCAM disc system.

CBS News bureaus in the United States and abroad are using XDCAM camcorders and decks in day-to-day operations and will start equipping all O&Os with XDCAM gear early next year.

CBS can get on-air with a story or footage quicker than before, according to Frank Governale, vice president of operations of CBS News.
