Beijing TV Selects Leitch X75 HD for Mobile Unit
China's Beijing TV has chosen the Leitch X75 HD for its HD mobile production unit.

The X75 HD multiple path converter/synchronizer provides simultaneous up and downconversion, SD and HD frame sync and extensive video and audio processing capabilities in a 1 RU package. The X75 HD has 16 channels of internal audio processing that includes timing with video for lip-sync corrections, A/D and D/A conversion and embedded audio processing for both SDI and HD-SDI serial digital signals and integrated Dolby decompression. Video processing features include level/color proc amp control and optional 3D adaptive color decoding with time base correction.

"With capabilities that far exceed any digital processing synchronizer, Leitch's X75 HD provides 'anything in, everything out' operation and allows broadcasters to do much more with less equipment, which is of particular importance in mobile environments," said Tim Thorsteinson, president of Leitch, now owned by Harris.
