Axcera to Supply Christian Television Network With High-Power Transmitters
Axcera has signed a $1.9m purchase agreement with the Christian Television Network to supply Visionary DT television transmitter systems for the network's DTV stations.

Axcera will provide the transmitter systems for CTN stations in the Southeast. The network purchased mostly HP25SDW, 25-kW Visionary DT inductive output tube transmitters. The contract also included the DTVision test and monitoring option, which will allow CTN to monitor system performance from a modulator's front-panel GUI, minimizing the need for external test equipment.

The network cited Axcera's use of an advanced exciter system that automatically corrects distortions within the transmitter and those introduced by the RF system and waveguide as a reason for choosing the company's products.
