ABC Taps Chyron For HD Sports Graphics
ABC will broadcast the Super Bowl, NBA games and the NHL Stanley Cup in HD using Chyron's Duet HD and SD 2D/3D graphics and animations systems and Aprisa 200 clip store/graphics video servers.

Graphics for the upcoming events will be built on ABC's New York-based Duet HD and operators can then transfer the Lyric messages to Duet SD systems installed in the remote broadcasting trucks stations at game venues, either pre-game or live-to-air. The Duet controls the Aprisa 200 systems, which let show directors include animated clips for the Duet.

ABC has used Chyron's Duet with Lyric software and the Aprisa clip player for SD Monday Night Football telecasts for the past three seasons.
