BlackMagic Design Updates DeckLink HD Products
Video card producer BlackMagic Design has updated its DeckLink HD line of products and lowered the prices on some of its product line, featured at IBC.

The Decklink HD Pro cards--slated for November shipping--now feature broadcast-quality HD downconversion capabilities that allows simultaneous HD and downconverted standard-definition output, DVCPRO HD hardware acceleration, and 14-bit 5x composite analog output.

BlackMagic has lowered prices on the Decklink HD, Decklink HD Prof and a new single-link 4:2:2 version of Decklink HD Pro.

The Victoria, Australia-based company released its DeckLink HD Plus, featuring genlock and HD tri-sync at IBC.
