Chester, NJ (October 20, 2008) – Dave Hartmann, a seasoned industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience servicing the equipment needs of broadcasters, post-production houses, corporate entities, and government facilities has been tapped by TAMUZ GmbH to serve as the Company’s official Importer and CEO in North and South America. TAMUZ GmbH is a leading German designer and manufacturer of high-quality single or multiple screen LCD monitors. Hartmann is operating the Americas’ arm - TAMUZ Broadcast Co. (TBC Monitors) - from headquarters based in Chester, NJ.

Hartmann’s extensive experience, knowledge, and contact base stems from his deep roots in the industry. He established Hartmann Associates n 1981 to supply sound technology audio test equipment to TV networks, broadcast stations, cable facilities, Telecom providers and A/V manufacturers. In 1987 he expanded the business to focus on the video and audio broadcast markets and added numerous leading manufacturers including Miranda, Rohde & Schwarz, Tektronix, and Shibasoku to his prestigious list of vendors. Hartmann later supplemented the company’s capability menu with systems integration services and re-launched the company as Hartmann Media Solutions / Integration, Inc.

“I am delighted to be named the official representative of TAMUZ GmbH’s interests in the Americas,” Hartmann stated. “TAMUZ has an incredibly high-end, quality and feature-rich line of monitors to suit the needs of every application from broadcast to corporate and every business in between. The Company is known throughout the world for its innovation and response to customer’s needs. The Americas are ready for cost-effective alternative solutions and I look forward to accommodating them with the genuine TAMUZ product line.”

Established in 1993, TAMUZ GmbH’s many accomplishments consist of numerous industry achievements including the launch of the first broadcast-quality flat panel in April 2000, a Class 1 full HD broadcast video monitor with the lowest level blacks available, and a monitor that combines the advantages of a flat screen monitor with a 4 or 16 input MultiViewer in one compact system.

Hartmann studied Mechanical Engineering at Morris College, NJ, Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University, and Economics at Framingham State College. He and his wife, Celeste, are the parents of four children and reside in Chester, NJ.
