Iroquois, ON, Canada – August 25, 2008 - Ross Video will be demonstrating MultiScreen ability on their Vision QMD/X series of multi-definition production switchers during IBC 2008.

The MultiScreen feature of Ross Video’s Vision QMD/X allows for the independent control of each screen without the need for a dedicated M/E per screen. MultiScreen is made possible through Ross Video’s patent pending AuxKeys technology that provides additional mixing and layering capabilities to the outputs of a video production switcher without the need for additional dedicated M/Es.

“The ability to cost-effectively control up to 6 independent displays with the QMD frame or up to 12 independent displays with QMD-X is astonishing,” said David Ross, CEO. “Using a proven technology like AuxKeys to enhance the visual impact of live productions in virtually any facility is just another compelling reason to choose Ross’ Vision QMD/X production switchers.”

For a demonstration of MultiScreen in action, please visit the Ross Video web site at http://www.rossvideo.com/vision_qmdx/qmdx_overview.html and select the demonstration video icon.
