ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA/CAMBRIDGE, UK -- Clear-Com Communication Systems, a Vitec Group brand, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Muchmore as its new Regional Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. Muchmore will aggressively drive promotion and sales activities of Clear-Com intercom product lines and further build on the company's strong relationships with its customers, distributors and system integrators.

"I'm delighted to join the Clear-Com team in further developing their business in the UK and Ireland," says Muchmore. "As Regional Sales Manager, my ultimate goal is to make sure Clear-Com is the first choice and preferred brand for high-quality intercom systems. I look forward to working with customers to understand their operational requirements, ensuring that they are outfitted with only the most innovative, high-performing communications systems to meet their production workflow needs."

Hailing from an installation and production background, Muchmore brings 14 years of deep audio industry experience to his position at Clear-Com, with more than 11 years directly serving the EMEA market. He brings an extensive list of contacts in the UK and Ireland markets to his new role, strengthening relationships with Clear-Com's current customer database and introducing new contacts in the broadcast, post-production and reseller sectors to the company's diverse product line.

Muchmore comes to Clear-Com from Avid Technology, where over the course of 11 years, he was promoted to various technical support and professional service roles, most recently serving as Pro Audio Post Sales Manager to the UK and Ireland. While at Avid, Muchmore also served as project manager on the audio side of several Avid System Solution projects for key customers, including BBC Pacific Quay, RTÉ Ireland, YLE Finlandia and the Abu Dhabi Media Zone.

"As we expand our reach across the UK and Ireland, the addition of Dan is a strategic move to guarantee that our current and potential customers continue to receive only the highest standard of service," says Clear-Com Director of EMEA Sales Karlie Miles. "Dan's proven track record of success managing support teams and developing solid customer relationships will continue to position Clear-Com as the worldwide leader and preferred choice for clear, reliable and scalable intercom solutions."
