3G for audio? You bet!

Wohler (N1102) is introducing a 16-Channel, 3Gbs audio monitor. Say what? A “3Gbs audio monitor”?

Key is that the AMP2-16-3G can simultaneous display for up to 16 channels of embedded audio within a single multi-rate 3Gig signal. The AMP2-16-3G permits near-field monitoring for any mix of stereo and mono sources in a 2RU package. It supports demuxed outputs of eight AES pairs on BNC connectors and a reclocked loop output of the 3Gbs signal. The monitor uses a high rez LCD display with 210-segment bar graph level meters.
