DURHAM, NC - June 6, 2007 - Crispin Corporation, a worldwide leader in broadcast automation software, equipment, services and support, now supports DG FastChannel and Vyvx commercial delivery through Digital Transfer Agent (DTA).

Utilizing DTA, Crispin provides a seamless solution to automatically move commercials from a DG FastChannel Spot Box or Vyvx Catch Server to a video server and prepare them for air. DTA periodically reviews edge server content for new material and populates the DTA view with low-resolution clips that operators can view to verify the correct commercial material. Metadata is simultaneously retrieved and stored. DTA either automatically issues (or the operator manually selects) commercials to be transcoded and transferred to the play-to-air video server. Personnel may generate media status reports to compare record orders with the commercials that have been imported. No dubbing or segmenting is necessary, the required commercials now reside on the video server, assembled in Crispin automation, ready for play-to-air.

"With this recent increase in functionality, DTA greatly simplifies a broadcaster's workflow - automatically moving short and long-format material from DG FastChannel and Vyvx to the play-to-air video server," said Alan DeVaney, founder and president of Crispin Corporation.

In its original release, DTA supported long-format program delivery by DG FastChannel, Vyvx and Pathfire.
