The latest in broadcast and IT-based VECTORBOX technology to be demonstrated on stand 7G4-01

Barcelona, Spain – May 28, 2009 - Vector3™ announced today that they will exhibit the latest in VECTORBOX playout technology at the Broadcast Asia exhibition held in Singapore June 16 through June 19, 2009 on stand 7G4-01. “This year we bring to Broadcast Asia a new multi-tiered product line that gives customers much more freedom in choosing Vector3 technology. Customers can opt for the highly-popular integrated VECTORBOX 8000 HD series which delivers the full spectrum of ingest, control automation and playout capabilities or should they need something more specific such as ingest only, they can go with the VBox Recorder powered by the same outstanding VECTORBOX technology. Regardless of the need, we have the product that will support it backed by 25-years of engineering know how and success,” comments Roman Ceano, President, Vector 3.

About Vector Products at Broadcast Asia 2009

Visitors to the stand can learn more about the new VECTORBOX 8000HD (VB8000HD) solution. Designed for complex HD workflows, VB8000HD offers state-of-the-art master control room automation and fully-integrated graphics overlay supported by a high-performance video server for the industries best playout reliability.

The VECTORBOX 6000 (VB6000) sets a new standard of quality for channels that would normally opt for a premium video server, automation and graphics system, but which are looking for a more cost-effective all-in-one solution. Besides automating continuity playout, VB6000 generates live graphics to enable full channel branding. Integral use of XML for all metadata guarantees compatibility with any database or file system.

With a single SDI or analogue input and simultaneous output, VECTORBOX DSX boasts the same VECTORBOX automation, multi-format support and graphics features as the 6000 range.

The DSX system makes use of new multimedia technology, Serial ATA storage, and software-based processes such as VGA trimming and browsing to create a powerful, cost-effective playout solution ideal for broadcasters needing numerous playout channels on a limited budget.
