Prism Sound (www.prismsound.com) is pleased to announce that it is reducing the US Dollar price of its dScope Series III audio analyser by 24% to USD 9,850.
The price cut, which has immediate effect, enables US customers to take advantage of the devaluation of Sterling and allows Prism Sound’s products to remain highly competitive on the global market.
Graham Boswell, Prism Sound’s director of sales and marketing, says: “Currency fluctuations are something that every manufacturing company has to deal with and we regularly monitor these fluctuations to see what they are doing to our overseas pricing structures. In this instance we recognised that we could help our US customers by reducing the dollar price of dScope Series III without adversely affecting our own position. It is a win, win situation for all concerned.”
The dScope Series III analyzer platform offers one of the most flexible and powerful audio test solutions for analogue and digital audio generation and analysis. In addition to the standard signal generation and analysis package for frequency response and distortion measurement, dScope Series III supports digital audio carrier testing, quasi-anechoic microphone/loudspeaker analysis and testing of Windows™ sound devices. dScope Series III users can also define their own analysis filters or measurement algorithms, enabling dScope Series III to go far beyond the hugely flexible tool that is already provided as standard. dScope Series III can be easily automated using its built in VBScript interpreter, enabling the creation of custom test routines and pass/fail limit checking. Test automation can also be accomplished using dScope’s “COM” interface with external automation software. This makes dScope Series III ideally suited to production line testing applications, where testing of many different types of functionality in different domains (analog, digital, electronic, acoustic) can all be accomplished using this single unit.
The dScope Series III audio test and measurement system comprises a Windows PC (XP™ and Vista™ compatible) software application coupled with an external high-precision audio I/O processor for equipment-under-test (EUT) connection.
