ANAHEIM, CA, JANUARY 16, 2009 – Auralex Acoustics and legendary guitar manufacturer, Gibson, collaborate to provide “Art of Sound" guitar images for Auralex’s SonicPrint line. Auralex, the industry leader in innovative sound control solutions, has gained access to Gibson’s gallery of images for its innovative SonicPrint custom-printed, artistic ProPanels line. Auralex is now licensed to print any Gibson, Gibson USA, The Gibson Original, Gibson Acoustics, Gibson Custom Art, Epiphone, Dobra, Tobias and Steinberger brand materials and product images onto its SonicPrint panels.
SonicPrint custom-printed, artistic ProPanels are fabric-covered acoustic absorptive panels designed as artwork, featuring “The Art of Sound” theme which blends unlimited design and style options for any room with the company’s acoustically proven technology of its ProPanel product line. For the recording enthusiast, this exclusive offering opens the door to numerous décor options, as the acoustical panels are camouflaged under the design of the customer’s choice. Users are no longer limited to single color fabric choices, and can now outfit any space with paintings and drawings of any kind. SonicPrint is also available for Auralex’s ELiTE Custom Fabric System (CFS), a full-room treatment approach that blends an engineered acoustical environment with an elegant finished appearance.
“Auralex is honored to team up with Gibson, a legendary brand in our industry, for our new SonicPrint line,” says Tim Martin, director of sales and marketing for Auralex Acoustics. “We are continually looking for new ways to expand our library of images for SonicPrint. Through this licensing partnership with Gibson, we are able to create acoustically effective artwork with guitar imagery that will look and sound fantastic in a studio, rehearsal space, nightclub or other venues where critical listening is important.”
Auralex Acoustics’ new dedicated micro-site, www.auralex.com/sonicprint, is an online portal and direct way for dealers to place orders for the company’s SonicPrint custom ProPanels. Users can upload their own personal photography, corporate logos or other custom images to be printed on the SonicPrint acoustical panels.
Auralex’s ELiTE Custom Fabric System (ELiTE-CFS) is a full-room treatment approach that blends an engineered acoustical environment with an elegant finished appearance. Auralex’s ELiTE Custom Fabric System is a proprietary, fully-engineered acoustical treatment system that utilizes a patented retention channel and custom installation process. The treatments include a combination of absorption, diffusion, reflection, and bass trapping, with all the acoustical materials hidden behind the system's smooth stretched-fabric surface.
