yellobrik-spg1707.jpgLYNX Technik AG will showcase their new award-winning Yellobrik line of cost-effective stand-alone “brick-style” modular products at BIRTV. Yellobrik modules will be demonstrated alongside the LYNX Series 5000 FLEXCARD’s, ‘one module – many solutions’ devices.

LYNX is co-exhibiting at BIRTV with their Hong Kong and China distributor, Ray’s Group, and will be located at booth no. 8A53.

Yellobrik modules are extremely easy to set-up and use - all controls, settings and instructions can be easily understood and accessed from the front panel. Yellobrik modules on display include:

S PG 1707 - Multiformat Sync Pulse Generator with Genlock. The S PG 1707 offers a feature-set unlike any portable sync generator available today, including genlock with full cross lock capability, which locks the outputs to any reference sync format and standard. The module provides 3 x HDTV tri-level sync outputs as well as 3 x SDTV bi-level sync outputs and supports all SD, HD and composite (PAL / NTSC) video formats. A separate audio sync output can be switched between 48 KHz World Clock or Digital Audio Reference (DARS). Ultra stability is achieved using precision temperature controlled oscillators with an accuracy of 2ppm.

D VD 1806 - 3GHz 1x6 SDI reclocking distribution amplifier. The DVD 1806 has been designed to pass all SDI signal standards from 270 Mb/s up to 3 Gbit/s. This compact unit auto-detects one SDI input signal and distributes it to six isolated outputs without signal degradation. The input signal is reclocked and equalized before being transmitted to the separately buffered outputs.

Fiber products including; O TX 1810 – SDI to Fiber Optic Transmitter, O RX 1800 - Fiber Optic to SDI Receiver and O TR 1810 - SDI / Fiber Optic Tranceiver. These Yellobriks overcome the distance limitations and allow the transmission and reception of pristine uncompressed HD-SDI video, including full 1080/60p signals, up to 10Km (6.2 miles). They can be easily connected to any product with HD-SDI inputs and outputs.

The Series 5000 FLEXCARDS are “one card - many solutions” products, which offer users a cost-effective approach with the freedom to build a feature-set of any combination of options that is specific to their application. Series 5000 FLEXCARD modules on display include:

PVD 5660 - HD/SD Dual Channel Video Frame Synchronizer + ARC with full audio processing

In its most basic form, the PVD 5660 is a single HD/SD dual-channel frame synchronizer with full audio processing capabilities. The base model also includes 2 standard SD aspect ratio converters (ARC) and one advanced HQ SD aspect ratio converter.

The PVD 5660 can be upgraded with additional functionality through a series of firmware options including; Second frame synchronizer with second 16-channel de-embedder, 2 basic internal down converter channels, up/down/cross converter, and noise reducer.

PVD 5612 - HD/SD Dual Channel Video Frame Synchronizer with full audio support

Single input frame synchronizer with optional second input providing seamless input switching. Includes 2 user mapped output channels with 4 outputs per channel. Each output channel has its own 16-channel embedder / de-embedder and audio processing includes gain / swap / mute and invert with selectable sample rate converters.

PVD 5630 - HD/SD Dual Channel Video Frame Synchronizer with full audio support

Single input frame synchronizer with optional second input, and optional down conversion. Includes 3 user mapped output channels with 2 outputs per channel. Each output channel has its own 16-channel embedder / de-embedder and audio processing includes gain / swap / mute and invert with selectable sample rate converters. This module also includes an integrated SD aspect ratio converter (ARC).

PIE 5610 - Multi-format Image Processing Engine

This FLEXCARD allows users to define their very own toolset from a menu of firmware options including; aspect ratio conversion, up/down/cross conversion, noise reduction, and video delay. In its basic form, the PIE 5610 includes one multi-format SDI input and two multi-format output channels and includes a test pattern generator plus separate video processing amps for each output channel.

Each output channel has its own 16-channel embedder / de-embedder.
