Las Vegas, March 24, 2008 --Globalstor Data Corporation, premier OEM Integrator of high performance RAID, SAN and storage/video servers, deals a full house at NAB 2008 with a series of leading film production distributors and manufacturers featuring Globalstor‘s signature data storage servers ExtremeStor-DI servers, including its new ExtremeStor-DI REDe, which represents the first in the line to offer compatibility with today‘s popular RED Digital Cinema cameras.

Both Arena Maxtronic (Booth SU10729), a leading manufacturer of DAS, NAS and SAN RAID storage solutions, and DigiData (Booth SU6805), a leading innovator and developer of performance archival solutions, will be exhibiting Globalstor‘s ExtremeStor-DI server, showcasing the product‘s uncompressed 2K playback demos with Fibre Channel RAID storage.

Lasergraphics Inc. (Booth SL12105), a company specializing in the development and manufacturing of motion picture film recording and scanning systems, will exhibit its use of ExtremeStor-DI running ASSIMILATE SCRATCH software. This system will illustrate workflow integration with LaserGraphics‘ film scanner and Final Cut Pro and its positive impact on film or video post production. Also highlighting Globalstor‘s Extreme-DI is Bluefish444 (Booth SL7906), a technology and market leader in the field of 2K/HD/SD digital video content creation and broadcast, which will feature the system‘s functions in conjunction with use of the Bluefish444 HD/LUST 10-bit capture card to show its ability in retaining all original film data during the Digital Intermediate process. Demos will include capture and playback of HD and 2K content and its incorporation of ASSIMILATE SCRATCH software for playback and color grading demos.

Revealing Globalstor Data Corporation‘s highly anticipated product, the ExtremeStor-DI REDe, for the first time is ASSIMILATE™ (Renaissance Hotel Suite), which will demo the new server alongside a RED camera to illustrate its ability to uncompress and play back RED camera footage as a high-resolution 2K image within real time at 24 frames per second. Its display will also demonstrate its positive impact on streamlining the digital workflow phases, ranging from shooting to finishing.
