DK-Technologies has announced the provision of Closed Caption monitoring for its prestigious range of waveform monitors.

Introduced in response to market demand, Closed Caption monitoring will be available for both HD & SD video signals and will be able to read any of the 4 closed caption channels through simple channels selection.

DK-Technologies will be demonstrating this new level of functionality at the NAB Convention, where it will also be showing updated software for its ground-breaking PT0760M HD/SD Multi-channel Video Waveform Monitor.

The software update has resulted in a much simpler menu structure, making it easier for customer to navigate the PT0760M’s extensive video and audio features. The unit also now has plug and play capability and incorporates Dolby Digital and Dolby E decoding, either from embedded audio within the HD/SD video or through separate AES inputs via a Dolby decoder module.

Closed Caption monitoring will be available for delivery from the second half of 2009. The feature will be included as standard in the PT0760M but will become a cost option later in the year for the newly announced PT0710M entry level waveform monitor.
