The Michigan Association of Broadcasters is hosting a statewide
DTV preparedness training Thursday (Oct. 23) at p.m. at various Michigan
National Guard Facilities.
The Guard is furnishing facilities and its video
teleconferencing facilities. In all, the conference will take place at 18
armories around the state.
The training will focus on educating people on how to
install and operate digital converter boxes and will address antenna issues.

The DTV preparedness training will be open to the public
and is free of charge. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and a valid photo ID is
required to enter. The events will include question-and-answer sessions.
