Viaccess PurpleBox successfully completes security audit

Conditional-access provider Viaccess, a France Telecom company, has successfully completed a rigorous security audit of its PurpleBox, a cardless content security solution for IPTV by security expert Merdan group system in San Diego.

According to audit results, the robustness of Viaccess’s PurpleBox solution has the highest achievable level in the Merdan security grades, specifically, the Criminal Enterprise level, in all of its areas. The Viaccess Purplebox solution is a network-based solution that combines high-level protection, network control, flexibility and user transparency.
