Optibase aims at smaller telco IPTV deployment

At the IPTV World Forum 2007 last week in London, Optibase demonstrated its MGW 1100 platform streaming H.264 to an IP set-top box.

Optibase has integrated an end-to-end solution for IPTV deployments. It consists of Optibase encoding/streaming platforms and best-of-breed components for VOD, middleware, conditional access and set-top-boxes. The packaged solution offers the latest features and broadcast-quality video, and it makes it quick and easy to deploy an IPTV solution for smaller telcos and enterprises.
