Omneon to highlight MediaDeck, MediaGrid at CABSAT 2008

At CABSAT 2008, Omneon Video Networks will feature a demonstration of a file-based workflow under Pebble Beach automation, with ingest and transmission using the Omneon MediaDeck server and MediaGrid active storage.

The system will include ProXchange built-in transcoding and edit-in-place functionality. MediaDeck is Omneon’s compact, integrated media server system based on the company’s flagship Spectrum media server. The MediaDeck integrates media storage, system management, GigE connectivity and SD or HD video I/O modules in one 2RU package.
