Neptuny showcases ContentWise 3.0 recommendation engine

At IBC2009, Neptuny featured its ContentWise 3.0, a recommendation engine specifically designed for digital media content.

The latest version of ContentWise features a user-friendly Web interface used to define and apply business rules to control the list of content to be recommended to target users according to specific marketing criteria.

For example, business rules can be defined to assign higher relevance to specific content, such as push content from specific studio producers, which generates higher revenue. Such rules also can be used to create marketing campaigns based on user tastes and profiles.

ContentWise’s user interface for managing business rules is based on portal technology and has been designed and implemented to be customized to match specific needs.
