Modulus Video VODxchange offers VOD for IPTV

Modulus Video has unveiled its new VODxchange system, providing a complete, real-time MPEG-4 AVC encoding solution for both SD and HD designed to meet the growing demand for video on demand (VOD) movies and local content delivered over IPTV networks.

VODxchange converts content from virtually any video format and encodes it into MPEG-4 AVC while ensuring the highest video quality. It is built on the Modulus Video ME2000 multiformat AVC encoder to offer high quality at bit rates optimized for IP networks. It features bandwidth optimizing Constrained Fidelity-Constant Bit Rate (CF-CBR) mode, digital program insertion triggers and integrated low-resolution stream output.

VODxchange provides everything needed to prepare material for VOD playout, including encoder, video file transcoding, VTR control, quality control and monitoring, and an integrated RAID storage subsystem.
