Miranda spotlights intuitive control environment

Miranda’s iControl uses customized graphical representations of one or more facilities to create to an intuitive control environment.
Miranda showcased its iControl end-to-end facility monitoring and control system earlier this month at the IPTV World Forum in London.

iControl uses customized graphical representations of one or more facilities to create to an intuitive control environment with harmonized signal and device monitoring. It’s based on industry-standard SNMP protocols to allow effective monitoring and control of the video infrastructure, as well as the networking and building systems.

Multiple third-party applications can be hosted in the iControl interface to provide control of third-party and Miranda equipment, and these applications may be selected manually, or presented automatically.

As channel lineups and signal paths change, iControl can continually update itself to correctly reflect the nature and configuration of the various components. This ensures that multichannel monitoring is performed accurately.
