Digital Rapids rolls out Broadcast Manager version 1.3

Digital Rapids is showcasing its newly released Broadcast Manager version 1.3 at IBC2008.

The enterprise-class live encoder management software provides management, monitoring and fault tolerance for multiple live streaming encoders. New features include:

  • Enhanced failover flexibility with control of third-party video routers
  • New control room view, which provides mosaic-style, multichannel live video confidence monitoring
  • Rich scripting capabilities, enabling programmatic, scheduled automation of custom tasks with support for a variety of popular scripting languages

Supporting Digital Rapids' StreamZ and StreamZ Live encoding systems, Broadcast Manager simplifies operation with centralized scheduling, remote control and individual and group resource management.
