Backspace completes content acquisition, poised for commercial launch

IPTV pioneer Backspace Communications has completed its final round of content acquisition for its Expanded Basic Lineup. With a carefully crafted package, Backspace is now positioned for a major Walled Garden Launch.

Since it was conceived more than five years ago, Backspace has grown its industry relationships. Discovery Networks, A&E Television Networks, Lifetime Television, NBC Universal, and most recently FOX Cable Networks are onboard. In addition, the company has reportedly inked IPTV deals with local affiliates placing NBC, CBS, FOX and Telemundo in its Lifeline Basic Lineup.
