AT&T to one day tie iPhone to U-verse TV

AT&T will one day tie the Apple iPhone to its fiber-based broadband Internet service and its U-verse TV IPTV offering, according to a report last week from Reuters.

Examples of how the two will be more closely linked include using the phone as a remote control, accessing voicemail via the television screen and copying shows from DVRs to the phones, according to the Sept. 15 report.
