BitBand launches new solid-state IPTV video server

BitBand has introduced Vision Ti4, a solid-state flash-based video server with high streaming throughput designed for service providers deploying IPTV services.

The new Vision Ti4, a part of BitBand's CDN solution, offers the advantages of rapid cost reductions in solid-state drives and the flexibility of using off-the-shelf hardware. As flash disk drives become a commodity, BitBand has extended its offerings to offer solid-state drives in a scalable server architecture that can stream at 30Gb/s.
