SMPTE elects two new officials from Rohde & Schwarz

Rudy Nizansky and Tom Jordan of Rohde & Schwarz have been elected to serve as SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and TV Engineers) officials.

Niznansky, Marcom Manager, for Rohde & Schwarz, the company's U.S. subsidiary, has been elected Governor of the Eastern Region, and Tom Jordan, Rohde & Schwarz's regional sales manager and SMPTE Fellow, is Financial VP.

As Governor of the Eastern Region, Niznansky will represent the New England, Philadelphia, Rochester and Washington D.C. chapters of SMPTE for a two-year term, which began January 1. He will serve alongside current Governor Arthur Cosgrove.

Jordan also begins his two-year position as SMPTE Financial VP January 1.
