PESA Buys OZ TDM Router
PESA Switching Systems Inc. has acquired OZ TDM routing technology from Lighthouse Digital Systems and will use it to complement its own SD/HD Cheetah routing switcher.

The OZ will interface with PESA's WIN 3500 control system, allowing PESA customers to transition to the new platform. OZ is also an option for space-sensitive installations such as mobile trucks, broadcast stations and post-production facilities.

Functions of the TMD multiplexing component of OZ include synchronous AES audio stream and routing signals between analog and digital formats. The OZ will allow PESA to make systems that can handle I/O sizes to 1024 x 1024.
